JEROME HARTFIELD
President
Jerome Hartfield has been working in the construction industry for nearly thirty years and during that time has acquired a vast knowledge of the industry and an impressive skill set. As President of the VASTEC GROUP, Inc. Mr. Hartfield is responsible for the day-to-day operation of all construction activities. He is involved in scheduling, budgeting, supervision, and coordinates with customers and subcontractors. As project principal, he ensures that all employees adhere to VASTEC's work rules, safety procedures, and perform quality work while meeting the requirements of design documents and specifications. Mr. Hartfield oversees all marketing efforts for the VASTEC GROUP, Inc. including the identification of potential projects, estimating, and proposal preparation .

WORK HISTORY
Savannah River Site, Aiken, South Carolina 29808
Mr. Hartfield began his career at the Savannah River Site in 1989 working for Miller Electric Company as an Area Superintendent. He directed daily activities that included all phases of the electrical industry, and supervised installation of equipment. Mr. Hartfield began working for Bechtel in 1990 supervising the coordination and scheduling of more than one hundred craftsmen. He became a General Electrical Superintendent supervising and managing the Construction Electrical Department and was responsible for Electrical Superintendents and employees. Mr. Hartfield assisted in the placement of engineers to support day to day operations, managed and monitored annual budgets and quantity reporting. He assured that all applicable site rules and procedures were adhered to, directed all day-to-day activities, provided guidance to the field staff, and worked to ensure customer satisfaction.

Mr. Burns very much understands the business of construction and works well within budgetary constraints. He is an excellent estimator and scheduler. Mr. Burns has very good communication skills and interacts well with both customers and subcontractors. He has extensive knowledge in the use of marketing analysis, comprehensive management and operations plans, design, calculated project cost, and the generation of cost reports and time/cost analysis. He has extensive training in health and safety procedures and serves as health and safety manger.

General Superintendent
Harry Taylor, Jr. is one of the professionals who create the leadership nucleus of the VASTEC GROUP, Inc. He brings to our team more than 20 years of experience in hands-on construction. Learning from his father, Harry Taylor, Sr., Mr. Taylor has worked in construction since he graduated from high school. He has learned every aspect of the business, from beginner to superintendent, and can build a structure from the ground up from an architect's plans. Gaining increasing responsibility in the commercial construction industry, Mr. Taylor has mastered project budgeting, cost containment, and a proven ability to reach a targeted goal. His strong organizational skills and expertise in strategic planning for commercial construction projects have led to Mr. Taylor's successful track record with highly responsible positions.
For the past ten years, he has focused primarily on supervising commercial projects, specializing in government projects, restaurants and medical centers. Working for a general contractor, he has supervised all aspects of commercial construction projects. His key qualifications include :

- Diverse experience in blueprint reading
- Extensive public contact and experience working around other professionals

Zeljka Matasic has more than 6 years of experience in the construction industry as a Project Coordinator. She has worked on a wide variety of construction projects including numerous projects at Fort Gordon, Fort McPherson, Fort Gillem and the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta. Her experience as a Project Coordinator has given her the ability to communicate well with clients, subcontractors and provide support to Project Managers. Ms. Matasic previously worked for Technical Specialties Corp. where her duties included accounting, coordinating site visits with clients, preparing submittals and proposals.
